Helen is a founding member
of the Invest in Yourself Conference and is Founder
and Founding Chairman of WISE, Women Investing in
Security and Education, a non profit foundation
formed in 1999. She was the 1999 and 2000 Invest In
Yourself Conference Chairman. Dr. Olson currently
focuses on managing investments and on teaching and
speaking. She is retired from a career in molecular
biology and clinical chemistry having published
extensively in those areas.
Dr. Olson is a founding member of a mid-county
investment club and has assisted with the formation
of two additional investment clubs in San Clemente.
She is founding President of the San Clemente Sand
Dollar investment Club. Dr. Olson is a director of
the Orange County regional council of the National
Association of Investor’s Corporation(NAIC), and
teaches stock selection methods and analysis for the
NAIC. In the past, Dr. Olson was honored as UCLA
Graduate Woman of the Year and taught at UCLA. She
serves as a volunteer and has presided over numerous
organizations particularly in the educational
community.
