Charities Benefiting from Your Support of WISE®

Our GAIN AND GIVE! program was established at the first financial education conference in 1977.  Then, the all-volunteer committee pledged to donate surplus funds from the conference to Girls, Inc. and Working Wardrobes.  Additional organizations have been added over the years including Human Options, Women of Vision, and Girl Scout Council of Orange County.  Since 1977, over $80,000 has been donated to philanthropic organizations.

Human Options

Human Options has comprehensive programs that seek to break the cycle of domestic violence at every stage through:

          Prevention
          Emergency interventions
Early intervention and long-term follow-up, including batterers’ treatment programs
          Transitional housing

Their vision is a world where women do not have to be afraid in their own home, where children grow up free of the trauma of domestic violence, where they laugh and play in a safe home.

Girl Scout Council of Orange County
