Membership
WISE® is a group of volunteer women very much like you. Some work full time, some part time, some are stay-at-home Moms, some are retired. The unifying theme is that they are dedicated to providing women with an opportunity to learn about finances in a friendly and non-intimidating environment.
Membership Opportunities
As we celebrate our tenth anniversary, we are now offering membership in WISE®.
Why is membership a WISE® investment? Members increase their opportunities to learn from others – and help shape the direction of the organization – by becoming involved. WISE® Membership means enjoying the many opportunities to increase your own financial knowledge, while helping others.
Optional member activities:
- Serve on a committee throughout the year
- Attend the annual Kick-off dinner and meeting
- Support WISE Choices (financial programs and activities for teens and young adults)
Volunteers Needed
As you can imagine, the annual Invest in Yourself: Financial Strategies Conference for Women is a huge undertaking and we couldn’t do it without the help of our many volunteers. We especially need help just before and on the day of the conference.
Basic duties of volunteers for the Invest In Yourself Conference include:
Two days prior: Assist with preparations for the conference
Event day: Monitor two sessions of your choice or assist at the information desk for one hour.
Optional activities:
Handle other commitments at the Conference
Serve on various planning committees throughout the year
Attend the WISE Seminar Series
