As we all get older, it’s important to know how health insurance works when Medicare is involved. Some of us are on Medicare, some of us assist loved ones on Medicare, and all of us will eventually need to have an understanding of Medicare to best consider options for coverage and plan accordingly.

We’re fortunate to have Janette Peterka as a guest speaker. Janette is the co-founder of Peterka Insurance Marketing which is focused primarily on Medicare education. Janette has been in the Medicare industry for over 20 years, working for insurance companies and brokerage firms. She left the corporate world 3 years ago to focus on individual Medicare sales and industry education.
One of our Board Members, Jan Walsh, will be facilitating the session. Jan has over 16 years of experience in the Health Insurance Industry and is a District Sales Manager with Easy Choice Health Plan, a Wellcare Company. Wellcare, a Fortune 500 Company, is a health insurance carrier serving the Medicare and Medi-Cal eligible folks nationwide. She will share her perspective as well and host an informative session you won’t want to miss!
