Jan Walsh is a highly motivated and accomplished insurance executive with personal and professional integrity.Her consultative and innovative sales strategies, management skills and marketing capabilities are the foundation of her success.

Jan started her sales career with Anthem Blue Cross and was quickly promoted to Regional Sales Manager consulting with brokers and financial planners and developing marketing strategies in an ever-changing and challenging environment. She was recruited in 2012 by Word & Brown to be the National Sales Director developing their Individual & Medicare Division.Currently, Jan is an Account Executive with Emerson Reid serving as a General Agent and Producer.She is involved in Mergers & Acquisitions of agencies and works with brokers to strategize the best options for them.

Jan whole-heartedly lives by the motto "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care"​and she has found it beneficial in sales, management and life in general.Likewise, her ability to motivate others to reach their goals ultimately achieves her own.She is very active her community mentoring and serving others.

Originally from St. Louis MO,Jan graduated with a BSBA from University of Missouri- St. Louis and received her MBA from Lindenwood University, in St. Charles MO.She is the proud mom of two sons.Her oldest son, Patrick, earned his MBA in Finance from Winthrop University and is a Financial Analyst at Defender Capital in Charlotte, NC.Her younger son, Michael, recently graduated with his BSBA in Finance from University of North Carolina – Wilmington. .Having gone through a divorce as a stay-at-home mom 20+ years ago, she is passionate about educating women on the importance of becoming and remaining financially stable and independent.

Jan is an avid learner, loves to dance, and enjoys reading, golfing and finds “giving back” as most rewarding!

Janelle has 20 years of global experience across human resources, operations and strategy. With Latina roots from Honduras, she co-founded Aneuvia with the simple belief that diversity isn’t about counting numbers – it’s about making the numbers count. Janelle’s deep passion for diversity and inclusion, coupled with her strategic forte in investments is highly sought after by clients.

Janelle is an advocate for diversity and financial literacy, both inside and outside the office. She is an active Board member of Women Investing in Security and Education, an organization that promotes financial well-being for women. Janelle’s philanthropic efforts support women and veterans transitioning back to the workplace, as well as special-needs children.

Janelle received her MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in finance and business administration from the University of Arizona. Janelle’s certifications include: Series 65, Project Management Professional, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Fjord Design Thinking.
