Becky Porter

Becky is a Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Capital Group, home of the American Funds. Capital Group is one of the world’s largest investment management organizations, managing over $3 trillion in assets. For over 94 years, Capital has helped people take control of their financial futures by staying true to our core beliefs, our approach to investment, and our commitment to community. We believe that the success of the people who invest with us depends on the success of the people we invest in.

Over the last 25 years, Becky has held a variety of Human Resources roles across different industries, including software, semiconductor, engineering, and financial services. Becky received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA and has a master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology. In her current role at Capital Group, she leads a team responsible for driving Capital’s Talent Strategy in the Global Technology, Data, and AI space. She is also a Board member of Easterseals Orange County.
