Nella Webster O’Grady, CFP®

Throughout her career, Nella has successfully combined sustained, significant contributions to multiple Orange County non-profit organizations with a high-profile career in the financial services industry.

In her business career, Nella Webster O’Grady has managed investment, trust, and financial planning services for clients throughout Southern California. She served in senior executive roles at US Trust, Wilmington Trust, First American Trust, First Foundation Bank, Palo Capital, and Ocean Heights Advisors, now part of Mariner Wealth Advisors.

Nella’s board-level services have included the Girl Scouts of Orange County and chairing the Friends of the Girl Scouts Trust; the Board of Trustees for Chapman University where she also Chairs the Endowment portfolio; Orange County United Way and the Women’s Philanthropy Fund as a founder; long time Advisory Board roles for WISE (Women Investing in Security and Education); Mission Plasticos, and the Council on Aging Southern California.

In 2015, Nella received the Philanthropist of the Year award from the Orange County United Way. In 2016, she received the Orange County Business Journal's Women in Business Award. In 2019, Nella was the Distinguished Alumni of the Argyros College of Business and Economics. And in 2020 she was named Orange County’s Outstanding Philanthropist at National Philanthropy Day. In March of 2026, Nella was honored by The Girl Scouts of Orange County with their Inaugural EmpowerHER Award, honoring leadership and inspiring generations.
