Joyce Averna is a Vice President with J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank in Orange County, California. She is responsible for serving and advising families on all facets of their financial life including investment and wealth management strategies, banking, lending, trust and estate planning, and charitable giving.
Joyce has over 25 years experience in wealth management. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Joyce was a Principal with Payden & Rygel in Los Angeles, a $100 billion global investment management firm, responsible for formulating investment strategies for their private and institutional clients. She spent the early part of her career at Smith Barney in New York, a Liaison on their Fixed Income trading desk.
Joyce holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from St. John’s University in New York, and a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. She holds series 7 and 63 licenses.
Joyce serves on the Board of WISE (Women Investing in Security and Education) and is a long-time supporter of St. Anne’s, a non-profit dedicated to helping at-risk young women. She also serves on the Advisory Committee of the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission, a safe-haven for homeless families.
