
Julie Hill

Julie Hill is a highly accomplished executive and leader with a diverse background in business and philanthropy. She has held various board positions in companies, including The Lord Abbett Family of Mutual Funds ($200Bn under management), Anthem Inc (now Elevance Health; market capitalization of $100Bn), Lend Lease Corporation based in Sydney, Australia ($3Bn), and the US subsidiary of Holcim (based in Switzerland; $55Bn). She is currently a board member of The Cannabist Company listed on the Toronto stock exchange, and of Lyric Health, an AI based platform owned by Texas Pacific Group.
As an executive, she was CEO of the Costain Homes Inc, the US subsidiary of Costain Group plc based in London, England. She founded and sold Hillsdale Development, a land development company, and was previously an executive with Mobil Land, a subsidiary of Mobil Oil, based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Julie is actively engaged in philanthropic activities. She was the first woman Chair of the Board of Trustees of the University of California, Irvine and now chairs the Council of Trustee Chairs of all campuses of the UC system. She has received recognition for her work, including the University of California, Irvine Medal, in Forbes Magazine as one of the Top Eleven Women Making a Difference in the World, and has received the Amelia Earhart Award from the Women’s Opportunity Center at UCI, Director of the Year from the Forum for Corporate Directors, and the Glass Ceiling Award from the American Red Cross.
Julie holds degrees from UCLA and the University of Georgia, and resides in Newport Coast, CA and London, England.
