Becky Porter

Becky is the Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Organization Effectiveness at Capital Group, home of the American Funds. Capital Group is one of the world’s largest investment management organizations, managing over $2.4 trillion. For over 90 years, Capital has helped people take control of their financial futures by staying true to our core beliefs, our approach to investment and our commitment to community. We believe that the success of the people who invest with us depends on the success of the people we invest in.
Over the last 20+ years she’s held a variety of Human Resources roles across different industries, including software, semiconductor, engineering, and financial services. Becky received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA and has master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology. In her current role at Capital Group, she leads a team responsible for driving Capital’s Talent Strategy. She also sits on Capital’s Irvine Corporate Contributions Committee.
